Customers who chose to scale rather than spend weeks on routine debugging.

Astrapi invented a novel algorithm for signal detection and measurement. After implementing the technology in software, we were seeking an FPGA implementation for demonstration. Our previous experience with in-house FPGA development was a slow implementation process and difficulty in debugging.

When Joe at Instant FPGA told us he could help us produce a prototype quickly, we jumped at the chance. We gave Instant FPGA the high-level requirements, data flow, module design, and key algorithms. Instant FPGA reduced a year-long project to a matter of weeks. Within days we had the first components working, and a full prototype in less than two months. The FPGA prototype can reproduce our reference output flawlessly.

Instant FPGA can be an important partner in FPGA-based applications development.

Had a critical block that wasn't quite right, 95% done — each fix uncovered another problem underneath, with a deadline closing in.

Sent the RTL over expecting a code review; what came back was five concrete findings traced to specific lines, each with the reasoning behind it. Two were structural bugs I'd been working at for a few days. They also went beyond the RTL and returned a reworked testbench with a golden-model check against RISC-V semantics.

A few integration tweaks on my end, but nothing I wouldn't have done anyway. I thought I wouldn't make my deadline and was back on track the same day.
